Nice review - tempting, do you plan on building it ?

I want to do it as a full-build blog. I'm about to post the first 'instalment' of the Tasca M4a1 Blog, so, until that gets further along, I won't be touching the Stag. I'm also still figuring out whether or not to do the Canadian Stag modification with the fording gear...

I am glad I have read your review ,I thought I was the only thinking these intstructions are bleeped. I am in the process of building the kit but honestly feel like throwing it aside.The instructions are so frustrating to read and I have taken to crossing out the parts I have assembled as I go along and have never had to do that before .Is the plastic nice to work with oh yea but as to me it is over engineered for my taste,must be used to hetzers and chars by tamiya or dragons offerings.

Mike, I think you're taking the right approach by crossing out sections you've completed. I'm doing the same thing with the Tasca M4a1 as well. It's something i've got used to with DML instructions also - so persevere!

I opened the review because my kit is probably coming very soon and I am a bit concerned about the instruction sheet that you mentioned. Quite confusing you say? My question is will I be able to build it just looking at the illustrations and basing my assembly on experience alone? What I'm trying to say is, can I build it by merely identifying the parts and where it will go rather than following the confusing step-by-step instructions?

Noli, in a nutshell, everyone who has built it says the same thing - put the hull together and then add the small details

It's certainly needs a bit more attention to the instructions than normal - but well worth it..
