This is the Tamiya Tiger I Early.

I usually model in 1/72 scale, but thought I would give 1/48th a go too.

Nice build. Overall a good project. The mud could be 'spashed' up on the sides a bit more.

How do you find 1/48 compared to 1/72, other than more expensive?

Hi Andy.

I must say I prefer 1/72 as its what im used to modelling.

But I would build another one if I had the chance mate.

I looked into tinkering with 1/48th, but its almost the same price as 1/35th.

It is a really nice job,I have been building 1/48 for the last 1-1/2 years and it served as a good introduction to armor,you should try the AFV Club Late Tiger with Zimm,I liked it better then the Tamiya Tiger.

I just started my 1st 1/35 Dragons new King Tiger
