Here are the pics.
Looks pretty good. A couple pointers though. All 1 CAV vehicles are overall Sand, not NATO 3-tone camo. Also, your rear lights are incorrect. Only the upper left oval should be red. The rest are all black slits and are part of the blackout drive system. They should look like this (different vehicle, same light set-up):
Looks like the track came out well too. Overall a good job. Do you have any more pics of the front and other angles.

That is a great first time scratch. Be careful, scratch building can be addictive. Could even lead to OOB Phobia. Now you need an M109 to go with it.
Did you use the drawings from my Drawings album? I found those drawings after I built mine. Scaled up a Roco minitank for my build. Had a couple false starts until I figured out the Roco M992 was not 1/87 scale.

Thanks for pointing that out Gino. I made the same oversite on the tail light. My bad because I know better but often careless. Now I have to go check all my tail lights. Wish all my goofs were as easy to fix.

Hi guys,
Yes Joe, I did use your drawings for scale and sizes. Very helpfull !!!
Two remarks, Gino.
Even if the 1 Cav did duty in Kosovo are they painted overall sand and not 3-tone nATO ?
And I have two more pictures, but because of their high resolution it is not possible tot post them, i've used up all my free space !!

Yes, 1 CAV did not repaint the vehicles they sent to Kosovo. Also, I don't think any of the FA Bns brought their guns and FAASVs to Kosovo. I believe they were all HMMWV mounted, but I could be wrong. It has been a few years since then and my memory has gotten a little fuzzy over the years. I was a 2LT in 1 CAV when they went to Kosovo, but my unit didn't go.
Also, I just noticed that the bumper numbers are off too. They should read 1 CAV 3-82 FA. The / is used between the Battery and Bn when written out, such as A/3-82 FA. A dash is used between the Bn and Regiment, 3-82 FA.
You could redo the markings and make it a 1st Armored Division vehicle. They were in NATO camo and did take thier guns and FAASVs to Kosovo, I have a friend who was there from 1AR. They have 2-3 FA, 4-27 FA, and 4-1 FA assigned to them. The new markings would look something like 1^ 2-3 FA, where ^ is a solid black triangle.
Lastly, the front IR lights should be black. They are a red lense, but are very dark and appear black.
The additional pics look great.

Hi Gino,
Thanks for the info about the I Cav.
I think I'll have to redo the markings now.
