Hi everyone, I want to share with you my new model - it may really amaze you... This is a "walking machine", it quite look like a "Star Wars" droid, but in fact when I made this, I was inspired by some japanese science-fiction alternative history. In Poland I cannot find any kit from this so I decide to made this futuristic model absolutely by myself, step by step, by remain parts from another kits (some parts I made by myself too). Below you can see some photos before and after painting, now I'm preparing a dio for it . Mayby you have some concept for a postnuclear scenery?;) I hope you'll enjoy this:) Marcin

This looks great Marcin.
Some "kitbashes" look just like a lot of parts thrown together, but yours looks like it is actually a machine. Fantastic job!!

yes, you are right. I am amazed by your model and enjoy the pics.
Very resourceful finding the parts to make this and the paint and texture scheme looks good too.

I can pick out a few things there, obvious ones some tank wheels, german tank gun barrel, Looks like an Enterprise lower hull as the main body of the "MACHINE", German tank headlamp, various other greeblies and the quintessential oil drum!!
I like the armoured leg joints - common sense would dictate these would be more protected than the rest. A lot of thought went into this GOOD WORK.

Very nicely built. I can imagine how difficult it would be to get even the kits to kitbash this where you live.
Well done.

Excellent! At first I thought you modified one of the old Nitto kits, then read your post. Super job.

Terrific work Marcin, Hobbylink Japan stock Nitto kits and the postage is not very high to Europe.

Looks very good. Definitely looks like the Krote from Nitto's SF3D line. Nice work. Thanks for sharing. "Q"

LOVE IT !!!!
Perhaps this fits......In the winter of 2027,the third world conflict still raging on,a young sentry in his slit trench hears a strange noise coming from the forest in front. The thump, thump thump grows louder until the trees shatter into matchwood as the germainian leviathan bursts into view. It`s gun tube points in his direction, there`s a flash and then darkness...........

Fantastic job Marcin, truly amazing what you built here. As much time as I spend just wrestling with the DML & Tamiya "shake and bake" kits, you've managed to put together a winner with ease! Nice paint and weathered look as well, does look like something out of the post-nuclear war age!
Thanks for sharing, Cheers!

Nice one Dan. Personally I'd add a gentle whine of machinery before the flash, becausefor stability the thing would probably have to "kneel" to avoid the recoil knocking it over... Ok we're intruding on this poor guy's idea... ahem excuse us Marcin!!!

A very interesting build, probably what would be fighting now if the second world war was still raging.
Excellent job of using a load of spare parts, looks cool.

Very nice job, reminds me of the GDI Titan from the Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun game
Heres an idea for a dio:
In the kinda near future, after a large nuclear apocalypse, the world is thrown into chaos, with various groups of survivors fighting for power. A group of Neo-Nazis try to set up a fourth reich in the US.
This robot can be somewhere in NYC (apocaliptic times square would be cool) engaged in a fire fight with Anarchist rebels
congradulations, you all have just witnessed possibly the first real piece of Sci-Fi writing to be created by me

apocaliptic times square would be cool
Oh, apocaliptic times square would be really cool! Such a great idea, thanks Boris Maybe not all times square, but some suggestive element of the surroundings (american board with name of street, for example "Wall street", lying on the ground) It will be look like the last scene in old version "Planet of the apes" , with Statue of LIberty... thanks for sharing your concept I'm planning put my Machine on a small vinette, so I have too little place to realized all this ideas... but thanks for all
