I’ve been working on a Stryker kit which I’d like to turn into a M1132 with angled plow. I have some photos of the plows profile and head on shots. I’m hoping someone will have pics from behind the plow, plow mount and hydraulics set up. I have searched Goggle, Webshots and Photobucket and found only a handful.
Thanks,
Joe

Joe, I think the excellent WWP book has very good shots of the different blades for the engineer variant.

I have a couple from my collection of the front of the ESV but nothing from the behind the plow. If you still want them, let me know.

Hey Rick,
Now that looks cool, do you have more photos! The one I'm after is the V-angled plow something like this...
Thanks for the photo,
Joe

Mother,
Remind me this weekend and I will scan the pages from the WWP book for you. Might not be as good as having the actual book in front of you, but it's start. I'm looking at it right now and it will only be about 15 to 20 pictures and it is exactly what you need.

Rick, I think that's the Canadian LAV-E, based on the LAV-III. While the Stryker Engineer vehicle is similar, I think the mounting system for the blade is quite different, as the US version can mount the different types of blades or rollers, and is made so they can be quickly released if necessary.

The Engineers from 1 Combat Engineer Regiment that were attached to my platoon last month said that their ELAV could mount a mineplow (which they described as a V-shaped blade) But I didn't ask if they had that blade in their inventory. The only one they used for the two months we trained with them was the bulldozer blade

He Joe, I'm planning on doing the roller variant. Just when I'm done with the ATGM.I had planned on doing the MEV but found out it was in the making.
