I just finished a Leo 2A6. It came with two crewmembers to be painted with the modern German camo pattern. For the life of me I could not get the pattern to look even remotely like it should, became quite a frustrating end to what was otherwise a very enjoyable project.

I have been experimenting with permanent markers. They are available in all sorts of colors and tip sizes from craft stores. I am almost finished with an East German figure using a marker to create the "rain" pattern and I believe that it is quite effective. But I believe that these markers, in combination with traditional paints, can help give you the squared of look of todays digital patterns including German "flectarn" (SP?).
I will post pictures once completed.

Hear is a web sit that gives you Flecktarn Woodland, Flecktarn Desert, and some others..
When painting a Flecktarn Woodland scheme their are three primary colors of Panzer yellow, Panzer Brown, and Panzer Green done basically like the three tone scheme on the tanks.. In all of the Flectarn Woodland clothing that I have those are the primary base colors.. Then do speckles of Flat Black, Panzer Gray and Olive Drab.. Hear are a couple of pictures of some my stuff.. The first one is of a Vest, and the second is of a Parker..
