Looking for World War I figures. I found some really good ones at Japanese Armor King. But just wondering if there are any more out there?

Thanks!

Hi Greg,

I too have been looking for some decent WWI figures. Can you post a link to the Japanese Armor King figures?

The only WWI figures I know of are from Emhar. They have some WWI tanks and figures. Not sure on the quality although. Below is the link:

Hi Greg,
Here's a few that i know of, i'm going through a bit of a W.W.1 period lately!:
ICM have a couple of sets,German and British. The quality of these kits aren't too bad, plastic wise you won't find better.See pics below!
Toro models have various W.W.1 figures, some in a diorama setting.
Andrea have some great figures although in 54mm.
Model Cellar have a range of figures 54mm,1/35 etc. in resin and very nice quality.I have a couple of sets of figures from this co. that i can highly recommend.
A small vignette from
VLS Warrior .
I hope that some of these links might of helped you out. There is quite alot of W.W.I themed figures it's just a matter of having a good look around!
The prices can get pretty steep for resin and white metal figures, but the ICM is great for a kit bash.
Here's a ICM stormtrooper that i converted slightly (still a W.I.P):

Hi John,

Any chance of their web site address?

I've tried typing in scale-link.com and scalelink.com - and no joy.

Cheers,

Japanese Armor King has some quality items, including the WWI figures. I purchased several last year and they are excellent except for the feet - a bit clumpy looking but with some ground work this problem can be covered easily enough. Check 'em out, nice owner also.

Try the above site.
White Metal, 54mm, and quite a range of options.
Hope this helps a bit.

Hi Keith

Sorry, I can't comment on the quality etc. as I've no experience of their figures. I was looking at their site for other possible items I'd like to buy, so had the link bookmarked.

As it turns out they are not that far from where I live and may well decide to take a look if I buy rather than get the items posted.

They seem to do quite a range, a lot of which appears to be done in the more traditional white metal rather than resin.

Love to get some of the vehicles but a bit to much for me at the moment.

Like your dioramas by the way, thanks for the "how to's" you've put on the site.

Thanks Alan for the quick reply,

i have a small project i wish to do that requires some WW1 british infantry going over the top, scale line seem to have what i want but i would like to see the quality before i buy, as i don't wish to part with my cash unless its exactly what im looing for.

I'm glad you like my work, and i hope the articles have been of use, i have some more planned but like every thing else its all down to time (or lack off)

have you also taken a moment to take a look at the the bulldogs site here on the kitmaker network, its there for kitmaker members from the UK and IPMS members. Its a good chance to join one of the quickest growing IPMS branches in the UK, meeting up at show and joining in with group builds.

cheers
