Could give the Trumpeter kit a shot. It will require some work but it will keep you busy until Mr. Tamiya brings your kit.

Maybe if we keep hoping and praying, they might just do that

You could try using the trumpeter kit and possibly the ad-on armour from the tamiya challenger M.3 kit. Saw those beasts on TV with almost the same side armour on them, ecxept for those rubber flaps beneath.
Or if we smile and ask nicely maybe Acc. armour could make thse pieces.

this update set is allready under development, so it says on there website.
both for the gulf war and kosovo

I donīt know, if I should go with Trumpeter+ AA accessories until Tamiya will release one.

The Trumpeter kit is a fair price, but Iīm sure, I will have to pay a lot for the AA set and for this price, I think, I could afford two Tamiya Challenger 2s, when Tamiya will release a kit somewhere in time...
