Is the AFV Club kit of this model appropriate for OIF? (kit number 35008)
Thanks

Yes, 3ID had a majority of A1s when I was there with them in '03. Additionally, there are still plenty of M88A1s being used today. My BDE (41st Fires BDE, Ft Hood) still has A1s down at our MLRS Bns today, as do many other units here on Ft Hood. They are slowly being replaced by A2s as they come out of rebuild. The A2s are not new vehicles, but are converted/rebuilt from A1s as they go in for rebuild and reset from OIF.

Yes it is, but there is also a M88A2 Hercules that was used there too. The AFV kit can be a start for the A2 also. There is 2 after market conversion for the A2.

But yes, the AFV kit is appropriate for OIF

Real Models is the one that comes to mind first. AEF Designs has one but I no nothing about it. I think there is one more out there but i can't seem to remember it.
