Does anyone have any links to color pictures or color plates for a late jagdpanther. I am looking for a tri-color scheme preferably out of the bottle if possible. If you could tell me what color numbers and brands as well as pics, I would be truly grateful. Trying to finish for the AMPs nationals this weekend. Thanks.

I did my Jagpanther with Model Master Afrika Braun RAL 6020, 1943 Panzer Olivegrun and a mixture of 2111 Italian Dark Brown and Rust. The model can be seen in the gallery section. If you want other photos let me know.

Sgt Fubar,
I recently completed a Jagdpanther. It's in red oxide under coar (Tamiya Hull red), and Danklegelb and Oilve Green stripes.
I think lots of later war Jagdpanther sometimes rolled out just with red oxide coat.

I've only seen two color Jagdpanthers. Either dunkelgelb and olivegrun or dunklegelb and Signal braun. I'm sure a lot of them had the 3 color ambush scheme, there just aren't a lot of Jagdpanther photos floating around

AS an 'understatement of the day', There is a lot of variation of what people think is the 'official' WWII German colors.
Having no background in mixing paint, photo interpretation, or historical reenactment/museum curation, I like Tamiya Dark Yellow for a basecoat, and Poly Scale WWII German reb-brown and olive green.
I like the Poly Scale railroad line Mineral Red for the reb-brown primer.
Other folks use Tamiya Dk Green and Red-brown for the cammo colors.
to each thier own,,,
Mike
