Hi! Here's my Acadamy kit altered for a batch 1 so far......

The last pic of the engine deck shows 5 fill caps. Which are which as far as fuel, lube, and coolant?
Thanks and enjoy!
cheers!

Cheers-in-advance!

Rick- I think I can help. The fuel filler hatches on the rear deck. The ones on the left and right hand sides were for fuel. The 2 in the upper middle of the deck (underneath turret rear were different; The left one was for an aux motor and the right one was for access to the engine oil tube. There are others more knowledgeable than me.......

Chris

BTW- I'd remove the spare track holder on the front - it would have never been mounted like that.

Chris is right about the caps. Technically, each should have a tiny plate next to it with Hebrew abbreviations for the proper contents, but unless the kit has it molded on it's just about impossible to replicate. The gun crutch is probably correct; AFAIK it would likely have been fitted along with the Cummins and possibly HVSS. Earliest examples of the M51 had VVSS, the original radial engine, and a gun crutch like the M50 angular style.
