I have the Tamiya kit 35160 Russian Army T-72M1 Tank. Any info on its accuracy and was it used by the Iraqis in the recent conflicts

Yes, the Tamiya kit is a T-72M1 export version. It is basically an Iraqi version OOB. There was an article in the FEB '01 FSM by Cookie Sewell about making one into an Iraqi T-72. It only takes some minor things to make it into one. Good luck.
