M26 Dragon Wagon Problem!!

I have been make this kit and i found a problem. Between the front bummper and the front caine exist a litle gap, Is this normal in real model or is a error in the kit ??

Which kit? The Tamiya or the 1/72nd Academy?

Thanks,Chris.looks like some surgery is in order,according to the 1:1 images.I have a gap too.And,the cab is properly on the frame,as is the bumper.
