Do searches on Getty Images for "British Basra".....lots of bar armoured Warrior photos.
How are you finding the Accurate Armour set to build?

Looks great so far. I have the same vehicle on my "to do" list. Here is a pic I found on the British Army homepage. There are probably more if you do a search.

Hi Pascal
Nice looking warrior, your bar armour looks a bit better than mine does:
For reference pics have a look here they are pics of teh Black Watch in 200, I think they were the first unit to get the bar armour. Bison also males decals for these warriors in their set British AFV's 2002-2005 Hope this helps. Nick

Frankly Nick I don't know....Maybe a closer look to the soldier's shoulder patch could give you a clue about the unit (it shows a gauntlet on a black square) ?
Here's a link to the Flickr albums they come from :

Indeed he is, silly me didnt think to look at the rank slide, only the striped arm flash!! Do you know why he has the cloth cap badge despite the fact that he is an officer, I thought 2 RA officers were issued with a metal cap badge or is that only for ceremonial duties?
Thanks for your help, now I just need to buy another warrior, interior and bar armour and Ill be sorted, my poor wallet Cheers. Nick

'hard' cap badges on their officers peaked caps

Very nice, Pascal! The bar armor is coming out great. I also like the way you weathered the side armor panels--the peeling paint effect is quite realistic. I guess you're still working on painting small details and finishing the weathering--can't wait to see it finished!

Very nice. How much time was spent assembling the slat armor?
