Can anyone enlighten me about Trumpeter’s EE-T1 or EE-T2 Osório? I have two questions, basically:

1 Are these separate kits or the same? Some websites imply one kit (catalogue number 333), others two.

2 If it’s one kit, does it contain both guns (105mm and 120mm) as alternatives?

I’m assuming it’s probably Not All That Good, as it’s an early Trumpeter job, but it’s the only game in town if you want an Osório, and I may want one some time to plug a gap in my L7 collection.

S!
If it's the Trumpeter's kit you're talking about it's just one kit.
It cames with two barrels 105 and 120 mm.

Hi,
I built the Trumpeter Osorio a couple of years ago, and really liked it. I thought it was a great kit. Just my two cent's worth.

Sean,
While the kit contains both the L7 105mm and the French 120mm guns, there are other bits that would be required to build the vehicle tested by the Brasilian Army. The kit out of the box builds a reasonable model of the vehicle tested in Saudi Arabia. The most visible difference, besides the gun, is the location and configuration of the thermal sights on the turret roof. I don't have the refs in front of me, but IIRC the antennas may need to moved as well. As a general piece of advice: dump the roadwheels and replace them with ones from the Tamiya Leopard 1A4 kit. I also replaced the kit tracks with individual links for a Leopard, too. HTH.
Regards,
Georg

I built the kit and enjoyed it very much. I added re-active armor to it and made a what-if. The kit goes together well with a few gaps to fill. I uesd the 105mm gun instead of the 120mm. Both come with the kit. Just my observations.
