can somebody help me with the Parts R2 and R3 of Dragons new M1A1 AIM kit?
What kind of equipment is it? I watched the painting and marking section and no one of the ilustrated vehicles are equiped with it.

Parts R2 &R3 are the antenna for the Blue Force Tracker command and control system. it shoud be present on three tanks from B Troop, 1-4 Cavalry. When the BFT antenna is present, the EPLARS antenna, Parts P18 & P20 will be ommitted and Part N37 is used to cap the open antenna mount, Part N38.

The EPLARS and BFT antennas roughly accomplish the same mission of providing the signal to the command & control unit. You would see either one or the other antenna on a tank, depending on which Division the tank belongs.
