Hi guys,

I'm busy with a new diorama in 1/35 and am looking for some figures suited for my diorama. I'm looking for some Wehrmacht walking, some sitting. I also need a figure that could man a cart. Of course I need a cart manned with two horses. Is there anything out there like this? One more thing time is June 1944 in Normandy. If you have anything that I could use, please tell me. Willing to pay for it. If there's something else that isn't really clear just ask.

Thanks in advance,
Daniel

Tamyia has a kit, #35103. It is a field kitchen (cart), pulled by two horses with a driver. I would think that it would be a good starting point.

This seems to be oop right now, but there are several on E-bay. It's been around for close to 30 years, but it's not bad.

The kitchen kit is available from hobbyeasy

http://www.hobbyeasy.com/ListProducts.do?para=187&str=category&skey=&maker=TAM&orderby=datereleased%20desc&status=yes&pagesize=10&pageNumber=2

It's been my experience that if it shows on the catalog then they have it. But you can easily check with them on availablity by e-mail

Cheers

Italeri have just re-released the old Esci kit of a German Horse Drawn Convoy. I have it and it's very good considering it harks back to the 1970's.
Dragon do some mounted Wermacht infantry.

The 1/35th scale Esci wagons sound like the best bet for you, and as mentioned, Italeri has rereleased them. . The Tamiya Field Kitchen has appeared twice--initially as a horse drawn unit, and more recently without the horses, but set up for cooking with new figures. There are any number of figure sets depicting Germans walking, from Tamiya, Dragon, Miniart, Masterbox, ICM, even Preiser (they also offer civilian refugees).

I was just over at Douglas Lee's Web site, and I see that he has 1/35 scale animals for sale. The horses look pretty good, but they're moving at a high rate of speed, so they might not be good for a cart; but you might be able to conveft the water buffalo into an ox. Good luck.
