This is great, the more I look at this dio the better it gets. I especially like the way you painted the figures, and how much detail there is overall.

I have two questions:

Which company made the German figures in the 4th and 12th picture?

And what materials did you make the bridge with, or did you buy it as a kit?

Very nice diorama,did your inspiration came from "Saving Private Ryan"?
One personal remark i think it would give more drama to the scene and made it easy to the eye if you had made the bridge shorter in length.

Pit

Yes I was inspired by "Saving Prvt Ryan".When I started this project my object was to make the bridge to look as close to the movie one as possable and the center piece of the scene.All the other action was to be on or around it.

Pit,I the first thing I did was sit down and start drawing,for at least three weeks I made drawing's.After that I made a cardboard mockup.I used that to figure out how much styro-foam and plaster I would need.After glueing the foam blocks together using 5 min.epoxy I sanded it to the shape I wanted and coverd the whole thing with plaster (not an easy thing to do on somthing this big!)I let it dry for about a week. Now come's the fun part ...Sanding! Unless you have a very understanding woman I don't recomend doing this inside.After sanding you can fill any crack's or hole's with patching plaster and then sand it again.Now draw the type of stone or brick pattern you want on it get some dental pick's and start scribing.My bridge took me about four month's to build that dos'nt include painting.

The figures are a made from parts from Verlinden, Tamyia and dragon.The bridge was built completly from scratch using styro-foam and plaster.
