I wiil like to know the techniek of how to make this explosion, a dio idea came to me while seeing this great pictures send from Faust

Here is my guess - If you look close the water is not that transparent, it's very dark water or its white from foam. I'm guessing that he used some kind of putty or epoxy resin to build up the waves and splashes. Painted it the desired color. Then covered it in varnish to give it shine. The foam is just painted various shades of white.
It may even be epoxy on clay?

I am thinking that he built skeleton of the basic explosion shape from wire and applied putty over it.

If I had to make a guess on how to make this explosion thingies i think I would go using the sculpting with das-clay method.
Sculpt the complete explosion paint it in the desired colors and and put laquer or varnish on it

That would be my guess
