My latest AFV and last for a few years whilst we are expecting our first child in 2 weeks.
Sherman form the pacific era, not your tradiontional colours, i thought i would be different.

Dont worry about the kiddy, we have a two year old, I would like to say I still get loads of modelling time.....but Id be lying, doesnt last for that long, just seems like it, but its worth it

Congratulations on the pending birth...

Great job on the Shermie...a beauty, but as you say, not accurate colors for Iwo Jima, which I assume it is since it has Kitano Point on the side. (5th Tank bn). I love the weathering...
Whose M4A3 did you use as the base kit? I assume it is TWS wading stacks...

Appears to be the Italeri US Marines kit, as it has the M4A2 engine deck installed. The kit includes a set of wading stacks with alternate parts for either the M4A2 or M4A3 grill cover. It also includes the Kitano Point decals.

Congratulations on the newest family member Gary. Children are great but you will still have time for yourself and you'll consider it therapy now and not just a hobby. Nice looking Sherman BTW and keep at it!

thanks for the comment guys, i think that after a couple fo months i will be start getting withdrawal symptons to start build again. I guess that i can start build up my stash for time being.

p.s Gerald you are right it was the italeri version, the academy version was alot more exepnsive.
