Hello everybody. WIP photos of my Katie. The Zvezda kit of this subject is rather crude. My own customizations include: removing intake manifold and scratch build using styrene strips, thinning down many parts closer to scale thickness, drilling out lightening holes on the MLR frame strengthening plates, enlarging holes on the MLR launcher guides, wiring for the launch control device, PE for headlight guard frames (mis-appropriated from the trumpeter ZIL-157 kit), etc. Her it is before final painting. My planned scheme will be Soviet winter cammo.

Very nice. The camo came out well and looks good.
I think that Katys were so ugly-functional that they were beautiful in their own way.
