Working on a dio that involves a German World War I trench. Anyone have any suggestions. I have looked everywhere on the net and I haven't found anything.
Thanks!

Osprey has a book on World War One trench systems and associated bunkers.
Fortifications of the Western Front 1914-18 (Fortress) (Paperback) by Paddy Griffith
It's available from Amazon, and has photos diagrams and color illustrations.

Apparently Richard Windrow's new groundwork book (published by Osprey) covers making trenches. Check out the reviews section of Armorama, and filter on Osprey Publishing. I think it was Jim Rae that wrote the review (within the last 3 months) - I recall thinking it was the most comprehensive and constructive review I've seen of the book yet.

Greg, if you can find it, a movie called DEATHWATCH, sort of a sci-fi thing but the entire movie is in the trenches of WWI. Sorry don't know who's in it or who made it, but it's not too old.
I've frame by framed this alot for trench refs. and it's beautiful !!!!

Yup, that's the book I mentioned above. Here is the most comprehensive review I have seen on this book to date: Advanced Terrain Modelling
