On a couple of my dio's posted before which can be viewed in my pictures or on my website, i have been told the doors were too tall. on the dioramas they come out to about eight feet high, this is also the height used on some of the Miniart kits i have seen. i never truly set the dioramas in any specific place therefore i was hoping (since i'm working on new products and want to create items that are going to attract interest but more immportantly be correct) that anyone could give me a more standard size for doors (height and width). i know here in the US some older doors were in fact eight foot tall especially the entrance doors with most ceilinngs being ten foot in the past, shorter now that the ceilings have dropped to eight foot themselves. i thank everyone in advance for any help given.

Residential doors are generally 6'-8" tall and 2'-6" or 2'-8" wide.
Commercial doors are larger. generally 3'-0" wide by 7'-0" tall.
These are common door sizes in the US. Europe generally has smaller sizes to go with smaller building and living areas.
Taller & wider doors are found on some monumental buildings, but smaller doors were more common in older buildings due to cost. 8'-0" doors were not common even with high ceilings.
