Tjena Per.
If I remember correctly, verlinden(?) had a set where one of your anscestors (a Viking) was chasing after a monk, and there was another laying dead on the ground. Although the wrong era, the monks robe is pretty good for any time frame. They might have been 54mm figures though.

What point in the battle are you modeling? If I remember correctly all of the monks left after the initial bombings. I just read Day of Battle. Have to go back and check.

tjena Frank och tack
thanks I will search after them
It was 54mm sorry, and not the correct figure, wants to have more peaceful characters
Hello Keith
I will do one diorama (or two with same part of the monastery (A part of the entrance)) with before and after the bombardment of Monte Cassino.
The first will be peaceful with some monk’s walking or sitting and pray.
The others are the bombed monastery (after the first time it is bombed) with German parachuter's ready on offensive from the allied.

Per,
The French company DES do a really nice series of resin monk figures in 54mm, I'd say they're suitable for more or less any era. In fact I picked up a couple of them at Euromil this year (I think there are about 10 or 12 different ones in total).
Definitely worth taking a look at, but unfortunately I don't have a Web address for the company - maybe the cats over at Historicus might be able to help you out on that if you draw a blank.

Sorry Per, misread your posts, seems you want 1/35 not 54 mm.

It's ok Steve.
Maybe I can use 54mm instead of 1:35, they will not be together with 1:35
characters so it can become good nevertheless
The difference between 1:35 and 54mm are not so big believes I, approximately 5mm

Per,
I was looking at the MK£% site and notice that they have a couple of priest figures that might be easily converted to monks
