I had an odd experience today.
For nearly 30 years my on-again, off-again modelling career has been spent almost entirely in 1/35 scale military diorama building with the odd venture into a ship, plane or sports car. Yesterday however, I was in the LHS doing some Xmas shopping for the kids and I came across the Dragon 1:144 Panzer Korps Morser Karl with crew and Munitionsschlepper. It was just so damn cute I had to have it. So I built the thing up this afternoon. It went together so easy. Not much too it of course but the detail and quality of molding was so good for being so tiny. Tomorrow everything gets painted then the dio gets put together hopefully this weekend. The kit even includes a little sheet of grass for a base.
I, I , I think I'm hooked

Gday Fitz
Wouldn't you run outta subject matter in 1:144 pretty damn quick? Good size for a suitable diorama though!
A little dabble nothing more... Then back to good ol' 1:35 Right?

Ahhhh, the small scale bug. It has bitten and you're done! There is No cure. Just go with it. I have gotten into 1/72 scale over the last year and it's a blast - quick projects that can look quite good.

I think i'm going to work my way back gradually, doing 1:72 then 1:35 versions of the same subject and placing them together side by side on the display shelf.

Don't forget 1:48, that should hold you back from 1:35 for a year or so.
I can't even see 1:72 let alone 1:144
