Has anyone thought about releasing an instuctional "how to" video/ dvd, covering some of the main aspects of dio building/painting techniques?
I know for me, its hard to grasp some concepts by just following still photos with captions. Just a thought!!

A company called compendium films make modeling videos and two are directly diorama related: Realistic Model Buildings by Marcus Nicholls
and Terrain Modeling by Richard Windrow
I haven't seen these two but there was a free DVD with the TMMI with some samples of the other titles and it was very instructive.
You can see the full range on the Historex UK site http://www.historexagents.com/shop/hxsearchresults.php?SupplierCode=CF
I don't know who the US distributor is.
