I am going to apply a set of Archer Fine Transfers to a Sherman to complete a review. There are two methods described on the Archer website. These are the dry and wet methods. The wet method instructs you to apply the dry transfer to "wet media paper" then apply like a regular OOB decal. Question what is wet media paper and where do I get it? I asked the LHS and received a blank look....
thanks

Don't quote me on this but i think thet are talking about the actual paper that decals are printed on. You can buy blank decal paper if you like to print your own decals.

cheers

You can order his wet medium paper directly from Archers, or email him and ask for a sample.

Not to raise no eyebrows but why buy Dry transfers and mount them as Wet Decals?

Not hard to apply and Archers are the best.

Thanks

Did you ever try to apply dry transfers on small surfaces or those surfaces you can't hardly get your fingers on ?
I did and I can tell you that wet media paper is very usefull !

Jeff- the whole point is to demonstrate an Archer approved methodology on one side of the vehicle using the dry transfer method and using the wet method on the other side. I am completing the Tasca Mid Production Sherman with three piece transmission and will post a review when I complete the experiment.
