The idea I have for my Idea is A large square with one destroyed Building in the center off over in one corner (of the dio) is a wespe underneath some camoflage netting. On the corner of the building is a pak 35 dug in with some sandbags and more camo netting. In front of the pak is a sherman, and a couple figs and lots and lots of mud! This will be a Battle of the bulge type dio so there will also be alot of snow.any ideas comments?

I think it is a cool idea but it sounds like it will be very hard to pull off without it looking like a parking lot. Either that or it will have to be fairly large. Wespes had pretty light armor and probably would not want to mix it up with another tank, even a Sherman. If the Wespe was abandoned it may be better. Or maybe a Stug well hidden waiting to ambush the Sherman? Don't get me wrong. I am just tossing out suggestions. I have seen a lot of dioramas and dios with 2 "active" enemy vehicles are very hard to pull off in 1/35th scale. Hope this helped.

I was thinking the pak would have to be awfully patient to take out the Sherman.
I agree with Keenan - to pull it off it would be good to have one side disabled.
Another thougth - for visual interest its a typical practice to off set things. Instead of centered the building could be at an angle and off to the side.

As keenan said - nice idea, just tossing out thoughts - keep asking questions.

Gettin' better - how about sketching it out on paper to get an idea of size and distance. Or use legos or blocks to get an idea of size and scale.
Definitly good ideas though.

The rusted Wespe is a good idea... the whole idea for the dio sounds good actually...

Just one question: For how long has this Wespe actually been abandoned ? To have it all rusted up would IMO take quite a while in real-life (unless the paint has come of due to a fire caused by battle damage)..... And if it was abandoned before the winter, I would guess that the wreck would already have been towed out of town...

It sounds like a good idea. I would sketch it out first, and then go over it with a fine toothed comb to get all the details right and perfect.
