Which units used the T17E2 Staghound AA and how were they distributed?
Anyone know of any good photo references?
Thanks for any help or advice.
Cheers
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
According to The British Soldier Vol 2 these were used by Armoured Car Regiments as their AA defence Troop so 11trh Hussars, Ins Court Regiment and 2nd Household Cavalry might be a good place to start.
Cheers

Hi Kevin,
There is an article on the AA Staghound in the Steve Zaloga secial edition of Military Modelling that came out a while ago.
Give me a shout if your struggling to find a copy.
Cheers Glyn.

Glyn,
I have one dated 5th October this year. Is this it? If there is another I would be interested in any further info.
Al,
Thanks for that link. I will come in most useful.
The Accurate Armour 50 cals look to be the late type. Anyone know if I would be safe using the Academy early type in their machine gun set?
Cheers

The Elephant's Arse never liked their Staghounds and got rid of them rather quickly - they thought them too big, but useful for removing gateposts
