Hey everyone! I know I haven't posted in ages but I have a question. I've been contemplating converting a 1/35 Italeri HEMMT since I have seen no mention of its Oshkosh cousin - the Marine Corps Logistics Vehicle System Mk 48 series. I'm not much of a scatchbuilder so any assistance would be appreciated!!

It is a pity because it would be an awesome kit. I on the other hand had to scratchbuild mine. here's a link to the tractor:

A truely outstanding job on the tractor! What were your references? Unfortunately, all my pics from that time burned up, although I still remember a few of the markings on my wrecker (DRAG 'EM WAGON). Did you use any parts from the Italeri HEMTT??

all reference shots were taken from the net. I searched like crazy 'till I found many. The only thing I used from the Italeri kit was the cabin and chassi. Thanks for the compliment .

I believe still the best & only on the web for detail so far. I search every now and then looking for TM refs. etc. I will scratch one one day but still need more on the frame assembly. Maybe someone would share what they may have.
The Mk48 and the M977 have very little in common. Totally different trucks although they look similar.
