There was a post a while back detailing the common errors in painting AFVs. I could not find it. One of the items discussed was the correct colors for tail lights. Can someone resurface it or tell me the correct colors for US tail lights. I am completing a M4 Sherman and M-36 Jackson.

Here is an example, while not a Sherman (its an M20 Armored Car), it had the same set-up.

DJ, my preferred method is to use a silver enamel basecoat in all the lens recesses, and then use Tamiya Clear Red and Clear smoke for the color coat. I usually let this all get a flat finish when the model is done; occasionally if the thing is supposed to be relatively clean I'll brush a bit of Glosscote on to restore a bit of shine.
