Tim Streeter's web site Modeling the US Army, has a good article on the different ration boxes used by the US Army in WWII and on which companies make the best recreations of them. It can be found here http://www.usarmymodels.com/ARTICLES/Rations/rationsintro.htm
I find this a very good site for information on the various kits out there for the US Army.

WOW, what a article.
Eeeh that just makes me realize that the boxes I have made in my CAD program and can be find on my site (soon again) are not dimensionally correct, oh well back to the drawing board , but not right now :-)
