Does anyone know where I could purchase such a beast? I understand MB models produced a resin kit.

No I belive he is talking about the one that saw service in WWII, lot of footage from Berlin on it. IF this is what it is I belive you are SOL unless you have some big $$$. I have the old MB kit. Not bad for its time but needs alot of work to bring it up to todays standard. I have not seen one for a long time. I belive Pit Road makes one. They pop up on ebay for the $200 range.

Hi Jim,
I've got some good news for you. This kit is made by Miniatur Models and is in production. http://www.miniatur-models.com/Gallery/1_35/Military%20kit%20models%20at%20the%20scale%20of%201_35.htm
Kit # MIM 35009 BM-4 Russian 203mm Heavy Howitzer. You can order it direct from the manufacturer. It's an all resin kit and it's pricey - $160.85 with the lousy exchange rate. I have the kit and its quality is 5 stars. Casting and detail is outstanding. I got mine for half that price at a show, but at least you CAN get a new one and you won't wind up an ebay troll muttering "my precious" to yourself!
If you want to "see" the kit I can post some photos for you.

hehe, the english language comes actually from Europe And no concerns: even outside Gb you can find enough people checking what you want... I'm from Germany (surprise, surprise) and sometimes order in Czech Republic: no problem, cuz their markets are more in overseas (US and Canada) so they speak at least a bit!
