I'm getting ready to start Tamiya's Marder III 76.2 and would like to replace the vinyl tracks. I've used Friulmodel tracks before and was very happy, but I can't tell for sure which ones to get for the Marder III. I presume the ones for the 38(t) will work along with the corresponding Friul drive sprocket. Is anyone aware of any reason those won't work/wouldn't be accurate? The Germans didn't change track type when they adapted the 38(t) for Marder use, did they?
Thanks very much!

The tracks for the Panzerjaeger otherwise known as the Marder III 76.2(r) were the same as the tracks used on the Panzer 38(t).
The friulmodel set that you need is -
ATL-13
This set comes with the sprockets in the box.
ModelKasten also makes a nice set of tracks for this vehicle.
Both of these sets are very nice. However, I favor the ModelKastens for the smaller types of tracks as shown here.

I used the Friul tracks on my Marder III M and they worked fine. You will have to modify the Tamiya idler wheel as well, as it is too narrow for the Friul tracks. I punched out a disk as a small spacer and that worked fine. They put the finishing touch on what is already an excellent kit.
