Hi, just had a chance to start painting my Soviet tank crew by Alpine Miniatures and upon close inspection the detail is extraordinary! There are even fingernails... no news to some of you but a real pleasure to the likes of me discovering Taesung's work for the first time... highly recomended!

Hi Richard,
I could not agree with you more: Alpine figures are truly a treat to work with.

Alpine figures are truly extraordinary..
And if you like them try the TANK figures which are also amazing...
Although the look on the wifes face when she saw how much they were was less than amazing!!
I think that good figures make or break a model - as we all know they give it life and give scale refernence.

Curious that isn't it? My wife displays a remarkable lack of enthusiasm for Resin OR Plastic - wonder why?

I bought one of the current OIF tankers from Alpine and couldn't be happier. I was amazed at the detail. How anyone can sculpt that level of detail is beyond me. Also for people looking to get the most out of their figures use Hornet heads. They are the best 1/35 scale heads on the market bar none. And the variation in expressions is almost endless. An Alpine figure with a Hornet head is a match made in modeling heaven.

Couldnīnt agree more with any of the afore mentioned. What puzzles me though is how anybody can actually think they can pirate any of this stuff to the same standard & make it any cheaper in maintaining that standard. Iīve worked in a dental lab so I know what goes into it & what it costs.
