Very nice Steve, you have achieved a superb result. I like how you managed to do that heavy mud, but at the same time made it very subtle. And in this scale... .
I´m not so sure about the figures though. Not how you finished them, just that they look a bit ´stiff´and lack the sharp detail of your excellent Pz IV.
The detail on the Thoma skirts is great as well. The mesh and the brackets, in this scale, look superb.
Thanks for sharing.
Henk

I thought it was 1/35 !!! but the figures gave it away. Very nice paint job & weathering too.

Hi Henk,
Thanks for that. Yes, I agree, my figure painting has always been weak, I must practice more!! I do like to add them however, as I feel they lend scale to a vehicle.

What the heck!!!
I can’t stand it when people build nicer models in 1/72 than I do in 1/35
In all sincerity, that’s one GREAT looking model. You should be happy with the way that came out!

Hi Steve,
Your PZ IV looks great! I like the camo and the weathering, and I don't see any problem with your figure painting skills. However, the one sitting on the driver side looks like flying above the tank. A good amount of sanding and puttying would have solved this.

Lovely work with the PzIV, I do like the mud. Can you please outline how you did the mud?

Steve,
Please do tell? Very convincing mud in this scale! Super job on the kit and nice touch with the figures. I usually don't put figures on or near my builds because they do not turn out as nice as yours but I will keep practicing and practicing and practicing . . .

Hi Eddy,
The mud is a mix of MIG European dust pigment and acrylic matte medium applied with an old paintbrush.

Hi there Steve,
I'd like this one in my small scale collection ! Fabulous camo painted, the real thing. The subtle weathering, nice details, everything in perfect harmony. And then...there are the figures : as said above, it has nothing to do with your painting skills, I'm sure, but the figures are not very well detailed, and have too stiff posures in my opinion. They do not belong in such a professionally finished tank as this one ! I hope you remove them and use other figures. Congrats on this one ! G.
