Nice to see the good guys getting some attention from Dragon.
Never seen a Bren gun magazine mounted that way before though
Not the box art, the photos of (possible) figures.

Well spotted - extremely unusual (not to say impractical)

Bren gun mag on the figure is totally wrong, its physically impossible to clip the mag in that way, there is a small lip on the front of the mag which clicks in and holds it in place.

IF these are the actually figures, they look pretty cool (with the exception of that ammo clip).

Just a goof in the figure pics I think.
Remember that 1:72 sherman that had white crew members in the box art, while the particular vehicle was from an African-american unit? IIRC, they corrected the box top soon after.
Another goof I can remember is the Extratech/eduard jumbo sherman kit's box art, with the track connectors like on the old Tamiya stuart tracks.
Looking like this.
Edit: Agh...
Yes yes, of course it was the figure pics that were wrong, not the art. Silly me again.

What!?!?!? Another set of Allied figures...!
Just kidding, just kidding.
Still not as animated as some other manufacturers figures, but I'll definitely take 'em.

Dragon makes some great figs. I think they are very top heavy with German sets. It is great to see some more British figs on the scene and hopefully they will release some more allied sets.

Hi Matt,
Saw the spurs over on Mil Mod. Unfortunately the putties are on the wrong way round and the SMLE seems to be more like the Mk I and not the Mk III. They are a good enough set, not up to their Gen 2 stuff but can be put right with a little bit of work.
Officer has his pistol mouilded into his hand and a wistle in the other, pity separate weapons would have given more options.
You only get 1 rifle the SMLE Mk 1 and 1 Thompson and a set of the generic weapsons from their earlier NWE set carrying the Bren , 2 No Mk 4s and a Sten.
You do get a bayonet and scabbard. Poses are good and they will be useful. Just a pity there are a few basic errors.
I would have liked to have seen a new weapson spur with the 2 or 4 SMLE Mk IIIs, a couple of Thompsons and some more bayonets and scabbards, plus a .38 and .45 revolver but ........lol, lol
Cheers
