Someone that knows the colour on zimmerit, was it gray as cement or coloured in yellow, perhaps someone else colour?
Sometimes must zimmeriten been visible during the yellow colour, at hits of grenades, machine-gun fire etc.

Zimmerit has 15% Ocra in it som it should should be yellowish...

I think its almost like stucco. Just an off-white paste that's pretty much a super-hard spackling.

It was made from zinc sulphide, barium sulphate, polyvinyl acetate (glue), sawdust and yellow ochre pigment. Surviving samples have been described as a pinkish beige.
