Hi guys, some more progress on the build.
The roof will be terra cotta - like half round tiles.
The block and fishtank stone work is getting tedious, l.o.l.
The portion of the roof you see is removable for interior work. The portion beyond that will be fixed in position.

Wow Glenn .... thats some serous block work!
I really like the lay out.
Will you add plaster to it all afterwards?
Can´t imagine how much work is going into this!
Thanks forthe update.

Hi Frank thanks, how's it going ?
I'm going to try and brush some spackle in between the fishtank stones. Then try and clear matte color them as I like the stone [ fishtank ones ] colors. The upper block walls will just be painted a sandy/tan stone color and weathered.

I keep looking at the rest of the church and surrounds and say to meself ......... whoa ........ still about 9/10ths to go, l.o.l.

Great work. The damage exceeded my expectations, great vision. I like the layering affect of the blocks in the wall.
The round details on the wall add a lot.

Hello

Great work so far! The damage looks really good. Great the way you display the walls that are damaged multiple layers of bricks! I can't wait to see some paint. To be honest I don't have a reall monastery feeling. Hope you can get there once it's get painted. But never the less great building!!!!

Nice to see you in such high spirits with your projects, i indeed really like the destroyed part of the wall -the layering like says Scott. I wait to see your next instalment, keep well!
