Somewhat new to this forum , and still trying to figure it out so if this doesn't work just ignore it.
Here are a few tanks I have done, a few Sherman's and a Pershing, so let me know what you think. They are nothing special, no weathering or extra details (aside from the Verlinden kit in the M26). Pretty much out-of-the-box but I like to think of them as factory fresh.

Those are all very sweet looking builds. I'm a Pershing fan, so it's always nice to see a little (more) M26 action around here!

One thing you might want to keep an eye on is how you are portraying that the stowage is attached. Boxes laid on engine decks don't stay there long in real life so using the available tie-down loops & some straps makes thing look much better.

Thanks for the comments and just from looking around I am in awe by some of the builds here. A VERY talented group! I guess I should try some weathering and more detail like Paul said, as It really does make the models look that much better! Thanks again.

I also tend to build stuff as new (er, when I actually build). The great thing is that weathering can be applied later. Once a coat of Future Floor Wax (or some other flat clear coat) to protect the original paint job, weathering can be added over that. The route I will probably take is to slowly add more weathering over time rather than try to go to a full battered hog of a tank.
