If the war had lasted longer, say Dec 45, would have the Tiger B been fitted with the flamenvernichter flame dampening exhausts?
In any of the new Tiger B books, does anyone have a picture or even postulated what would have been the new AA post mounted MG42 mount?
Thank you

Hadthe war lasted until that time, the changes from July '45 would've come into effect. Thusly, the stereoscopic rangefinder, the Kampfraumheizung, the 3 part engine hatch with enlarged access, would feature.
Flammenvernichters on the Tiger-B had not been proposed while they were being installed on the Panther Ausf. G and the odd Ausf. A.
Just to hypothesize, but given the work on the Entwicklungs Series of designs, the most important change would be the implementation of the external suspension using disc-plates, combined with the new tracks as these were being designed for the Panther-F.
Given the fact the E-series included new designs for vehicles in the Panther and Tiger range (E-50/75), the use of a new suspension would be first and foremost on the agenda.
The proposal of the 10.5 cm gun in the Tiger-B had already been rejected for reason of decreased ammo stowage and firing rate.
Another possible addition would be IR-gear.
Other than that, any guesses of what would happen beyond July '45 is just phantasizing.
The new post for the MG-42 was just a single pin located on one of the periscope, not overly spectacular.
