Hey all, I caught the modelling bug last year just coming out of high school and I love it
Been exploring the world of 1/48 armor with the Tamiya kits, excellent kits btw and then I got evil bayed and massased a nice stash. Been going for 1/35 scale recently since the possibility of detail is so much more and this is my first finished piece in 1/35; the Dragon Pak 40 with Fallshirm figures.
I have been lurking the forums and reading many how tos and tips and it has really helped me.
The Pak was a easy detailed piece and I really liked building it makes me appreciate dragon's lvl of detail
Anywayyys.... The dio... since I wanted to use the figs included I thought I might as well try to make a dio too;
This is the basic mock up, the mp 40 carrying soldier is getting the attention of the loaders, and there will be some kind of wall where the pencil marks are.
Any crits or comments are greatly apreciated

Hi there
Looks like a nice idea for the dio. I would say that the guy approaching the gun position might be at great risk from the blast concussion and debris from the muzzle brake. Ok I suppose if he ran in between shots though!
His barel of his weapon looks as if it will be in the ground.

Thanks, yeah I was wondering whether or not it would work, I guess having him there would incourage a sense of urgency to the scene.
His gun does not touch the ground, it's just in the pic the fig fell over a little

I would also put this guy in the front more to the side of the gun. I do not think most soldiers would like to be that close to the muzzlebrake. Better and more realistic to put him on line or behind the gun shield.
Otherwise it looks good.
