Like the title indicates, this was Judgement Day.....

Today I planned to build a mold for my bridge and make the bridge itself using that mold and plaster. I started early this morning with the construction of the mold and as I made progress, fears came to mind. Will the final product look ok..... is my planning ok...... I had severe lack of confidence at that time.

Well around noon the big moment was there....pooring plaster..... and, a couple of hours later, the opening of the mold.

When I saw the "plaster bridge to be" I must say I was quite happy with it. On the picture above you see the cardboard model and the wooden mold on the right and.... the final product on the left.

The Eagle is happy again with this days work.... and is looking forward to the next steps towards another fine diorama!

Lack of confidence - - you ???? No way! You can do anything you set your mind to, remember the JDAM that hit your hut last time!

The bridge looks good, you had some quick turn around time on it that's for sure.

Once again, after seeing this and Envars, and seeing Fausts images, and hearing about Pen_Pens - this is going to be a very energetic campaign.

Looking good so far Eagle! Now the fun starts. Are you going to carve some nice stones into that bridge? the beauty of painted plaster is that it looks so real. A good idea when it is all carved is to paint it with diluted white glue first. Even twice to cover it and stop it dusting and wearing away paint.

I see some niceness in there!
Great job Danny, looking good!
Looks like you´re about use all the water in your dio, which means I have to stick with some puddles in the ground...
Gotta love that brick work as well...
