Does anyone know of an After Market set of tracks for the Heller AMX 30 AUF1? The vinyl tracks supplied are not cutting it and I have looked all over the web to find a set and have not been successful.

Gum Ka, a Japanese aftermarket manufacturer offered a set of styrene link to link tracks for the AMX-30 series (the original chevron pattern tracks), but they sold out almost instantly, and have never been reissued for some reason. The AMX-30 AUF 1 artillery tanks in Kosovo have been fitted with 23-inch Diehl type tracks, similar to those fitted to the Leopard 1 series, but with duckbill extensions on the end connectors. Only other tank with this pattern track is the Ariete, and you can use the tracks from the Trumpeter kit, though you'll need to modify the drive sprocket. Of course, they are little better than the original kit tracks in overall appearance, since they are also vinyl band tracks.

Phebus Creation has released a resin set of "new pattern" AMX-30 B2 tracks (links and lenghts type) along with a few other AMX-30 -related sets.
