How good is this kit? The tracks look kind of cheap but thats ok since I'm gonna make it motorized just for the heck of it.Any where I can get reviews for it,BTW its the earlier motorized version.

Well, this is a simple answer...

If you just want to build a model... forget about accuracy and build the kit...

If you want to build an accurate model.... put all of the parts in a box... and throw them in your closest trash can... then, go back to the hobby shop and get one of those awesome DML Panther D, A, or G's....

OR,
Just go back to the hobby shop and get one of the VERY nice Tamiya Panther G's (Tamiya makes 3 Panther G kits).

Later,
Tim

Ahhh Tim, I couldn't have said it better myself EXCEPT that if you want an accurate model, do alot of scratchbuilding and buy alot of PE.

My two cents worth. If you're gonna make it a playtoy, then by all means get the old motorized version I know Tamiya has released some new 35th R/C kits but I don't know how many or if they are high quality or just re-releases of their early 70's kits

I built a couple of those older Panther kits "just to practice on" because the accuracy is WAY OUT THERE.. But it is an easy kit to build and would probably make a fun motorized version.. #:-)
