hello
this my first diorama that i show here in armorama forum . i build this diorama from scrach all the building and the street . the idf - tiran5 ( t-55) is a tamiya model + TRAXZ - TX00081 - IDF TIRAN 5 COVERSTION kit . i add an eduard pe set for t-55 and verlinden T-55 ENGINE DROP -IN . the soldier's made from cmk and verlinden idf soldir's kits .

Nice job on an ambitious project. Your skills show a lot of prpomise.
One question. Is it standard operating procedure to drive your tanks with the engine doors open? If not, for a diorama, they'd look better closed.

I was thinking the very same thing. I'm all for super-detailed builds, but something like an engine drop-in would really either be for a lone model where you want to be able to open everything and see the interior, or a diorama that involves a reason for the engine doors to be open.
Since these guys seem to be on patrol, leaving the engine doors open is an invitation for the enemy to drop a grenade inside.

Cool diorama that tells an interesting story in itself.
However, I must also agree that the engine doors should probably be closed. But maybe they were left open due to overheating of the engine?
