A german captured KV1 model1941 with simplified turret CHKZ?
I am not sure,It was used first two parts wheel
I used a trumpeter kits: KV-1 Simplified Turret Mod.42 ,but on the barbette two back periscope's position is wrong,& I did it followed specification,it's mustn't be correct
A KV-3,illusion tank
remove some parts position,on the photo.
in the box Trumpeter given 1942 mod road wheel,I used parts form Trumpeter KV1-ADD.ARMOR kits,First two-parts road wheel.
Drill round hole on the tower.

Hi very good job so far , the applique armour on the front should be above the top of the drivers armoured plate not level , it sticks up by 45mm , easy to remidy , cut a new one but add the extra height , remove the kit part and kit new one cheers ian

wire rope form a small factory,I get some for repair my bike but not on
the model.
I used putty to rebuild & fill up,It is innocuity, fastness, easy to mold.
&about 500g just sold about 10 dollars,could use for quite long times.so
I never use tamiya,gunze putty:)
fill the turret:)
IF there are some mistake that I can not find, check out,& I will rebuild it ,
I will share what I done in next week:)
good luck & enjoy your model!

Ying et al,
A friend of mine, Neil Stokes, did a presentation on KV and its variants from a modeling perspective at the last AMPS regional show we has here in the U.S. Here's the link to it. You may find some of the info useful.
