Most were delivered in a light, greenish tan which faded very quickly. Generally, no two garments were the same color.

Well, in my experience, I always use a mix of acrylic paints, sand, light ocre, and just a tiny bit of field gray. That does the trick for the worn Afrikakorps uniforms.
