Well, I got off to a bit of a late start, but here is my entry into the White Washed campaign. It is Eastern Express' BA-3 amour car. I picked up this kit at the Toronto Hobby show this past November for a whopping 10 bucks. Detail is somewhat decent but a little soft. But the kicker is, this is something different.. Not a panther, tiger, 251 or such. Mind you, its funny how fast we, I got used to the quality of those kits. This thing will take some clean up as flash, mould lines and knock outs are everywhere.. Here are my pictures to day.. a whole 2 of them...

Great entry, I love the BA-3 and BA-6 armoured cars. Really cool vehicles. Will be nice to see one in winter camo!

Thanks Martin, this cool little car jumped out at me the first time I saw it.. Thought it would be a good build for this. i am going to try the "hairspray" technique for the camo, see how it turns out.
Anyway, this is the progress so far. Body is together, engine and frame are done. Huge mould lines on the frame. Almost thought of leaving them, and calling them weld line... Tomorrow I will tackle the drive train, fron and rear, turret and lights and such. That should be the basic build. Oh yeah, in my haste, I installed the doors upside down... Got them fixed though...

The instructions leave a lot to the imagination, as in, some numbers didnt even make on the sheets.. So its a hunt to find the parts you need. Also short one rubber tire. Has 12 wheels and only 11 tires.. Also appears to be short one machine gun for the drivers postion.. I may just cobble one from some sprue.
