Good-looking built, I have however some opinions.

I had twisted the sandbags little so they cover the road's length direction, advanced the roadblock a little on the road..
The soldier that stands on the road, move him behind the sandbags. Now he sees the American soldier behind the house I think.
Take away the lying American soldier and put another standing soldier behind the house.

I think that it always becomes problems when you will have two antagonists on a small dio if it will become reality plausible.
A road post did probably not perform as you built, special if there are enemies in the neighbourhood, at least one soldier should have control over the road.

But it is only my view and I like your idea

keep going

Thanx on comment Per,

Well nothing is attached to groundwork so it's still posible to move roadblock and sanbags to correct position. Idea was that german crew somewhere behind frontline got caught by suprice. They are haveing lunch or something like that, and just become uncareful. Two GI are airborne troopers, droped behind enemy lines, ready to attack.

Spider sorry for late reply , here's some closeups on figures. They need some final touchup, not completly satisfied with them, but after all until now I have painted less then 20 figures, 17 to be accurate.

Happy New Year everybody

I wish my first figures looked that good. Try to put gun slings. Adds to realism. I like the mud. Maybe you can put a german machine gun on a tripod facing the road.

Good job and happy new year!

Thanx Danny, anyway I think theres a lots space for improvement. Well here's a few new pics, another day bring's new idea, I have made some modifications , added wooden logs near shed and trunk in corner, crosed rifles behind sandbags, MG mising on sandbags, roadblock pushed a bit down the road.

Hello Robert
Became much better and more realistic according to me.
The characters look great, if you want to improve them so can you improve on all fold on the uniform through using it darker green in the valleys and a lighter green on the tips on the German soldiers, and alike but with brown nuances to the American.
Indicate all seams, pockets Etc. with colour, I use blackly oil paint with a lot of white spirits and a very thin brush; I will only imply the shadow.

Impressed of your build and painting, continue and you will glitter.

Nice job Robert, I think the dio is great, but a tripod machine gun on the sandbags would be very nice.
the ground work looks great also.

Thanx Pedro, and yes I'm planning to place MG behind sandbags but i don't have tripoded one yet. If I could not find one I guess I'll put standard MG34 with bipod.
